Hello from Shelley Fossen and it is great to meet all of the new faces at St John's Academy! I work in the area of Speech and Language with some super students and some patient teachers as I learn new names and classrooms. I also work at Lincoln School in Jamestown, and Montpelier Public School. I took the place of Michele Lytle, SLP, who previously had done the therapy work. I live on a hobby farm near Jamestown with my husband, Bruce, 3 kids, 3 horses, 3 cats, and 1 dog. I love to read, garden, ride my horses, and celebrate in knowing the joy of the Lord. My bachelors degree is from NDSU, so Go Bison! I hope to meet many more people and to help your students become proficient in the area of Speech and Language. Mrs Fossen

My husband, Rich, and I have two children, both of whom attended St. John’s, Zach (27) and Madelyn (24).
I look forward to working with all the students and staff at SJA.
Peggy has been the development coordinator for St. James Basilica and St. John’s Academy for 7 years. Her role is to develop relationships with the St. John’s Academy alumni and parishioners in hopes of securing future gifts …and build on the annual fund for St. John’s Academy. Peggy believes that the role of the development is to help bring Christ to people and people to Christ - to ask people to share whatever they can in the work of the Church in the academic community- to bring about the Kingdom of God. People have a need to give, to be fulfilled through the giving of themselves, their time, their talents and their resources. She feels blessed to have met many supporters who strongly believe in our ministries at St. James Basilica and St. John’s Academy.

Hello! I'm Courtney Oliver. I came to Jamestown from Mankato, Minnesota in 2009 as a college sophomore with a track scholarship and big dreams of becoming the next Erin Andrews on ESPN. I graduated from Jamestown College in 2013 with a bachelors degree in communication. I began nannying two little girls while the reporter job search began and discovered a new-found love for children. After that experience, I decided childcare was the place I needed to be. I started working for Bright Beginnings Learning Center in the fall of 2013 as a preschool age teacher and loved every minute of it. In addition to childcare, I'm also very involved in coaching gymnastics at the Jamestown Gymnastics Club. I'm excited to bring my passion for enriching children's lives to SJA.
