Sarah Sankey • Executive Director of Marketing and Mission Advancement
[email protected]
Hello! I was blessed with the opportunity to join the St. John's Academy staff in August of 2020. I have a background in marketing and advancement and am excited to bring new ideas to the Academy. I moved to Jamestown with my family in the summer of 2018 when my husband accepted a position at the University of Jamestown. We have three boys attending St. John's and have loved being a part of this school family. The education the students receive here is second-to-none and the Christ-centered environment that is weaved throughout their day makes this school one of the best in the state! Please email me if you have any questions about the Academy or would like a tour of our wonderful school!

Stacy Anderson • Administrative Assistant • 701-252-3397 • [email protected]

As the administrative assistant I have the privilege of meeting and greeting many of the St. John's Academy student's families.  I am a native of Minneapolis, MN.  The marriage of my husband of 10 years is what brought me to Jamestown, ND.  Most of my working career was spent in the Minneapolis, MN area in the field of sales. In my time at St. John's Academy I have found the arena of young student education to be the most fulfilling.  In my spare time I enjoy getting together with family, golfing, skiing, gardening, and going on long hikes with my dogs.

Hi, my name is Jamie Chadwick. I am a  2016 graduate from Jamestown High School. I am looking to further my education in early childhood. I'm passionate about helping young children grow in their academics and their love for Jesus.  Some of the many things I love to do outside of work are camping, fishing, being on the lake, and spending time with friends and family. I am excited to be the assistant childcare director at SJA and am looking forward to getting to know everyone!

St. James Basilica Staff with Academy Roles
Monsignor Jeffrey Wald • Pastor • 701-252-0119
Father John Aerts • Parochial Vicar • 701-252-0119
Father Paul Kuhn • Parochial Vicar • 701-252-0119
Andrew Meyer • Seminarian/Religion Teacher • 701-252-0119

Kristen Lynch • Music & Liturgy Coordinator/Social Media • 701-252-0119
As the Music and Liturgy Coordinator at St. James Basilica, my job encompasses a wide variety of tasks pertaining to the liturgical life of the parish, which includes some roles at St. John's Academy. My involvement at SJA includes maintaining and updating the Academy pages on the parish website, but my primary role is coordinating the school Masses. This includes preparing materials, assisting students as they prepare to be song leaders, and serving as Mass accompanist. I also serve as accompanist for other events upon Mrs. Sprague's request. As director of the parish Joyful Noise Children's Choir, I hold rehearsals at the Academy after school, in which many SJA students participate.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of North Dakota and spent a few years teaching Elementary General Music prior to joining the Basilica Staff. I absolutely love working at the Basilica, but being able to spend time making music with the students of St. John's Academy allows me to continue participating in the education of young students. Please encourage your kids to join the Children's Choir - I would love to have the opportunity to get to know them!
