My name is Kirstie Dobson. I’m a proud wife and SJA mom. A native New Orleanean, I moved to Jamestown in 1999 and joined the SJA staff family in 2013. I love being a part of this school; where faith and fun intersect, where education is of the highest quality and where loving care is ever present.

My name is Brenda Pigors. I was raised most of my life in South Dakota then later moved to Idaho for 12 years. I relocated to Jamestown in August 2012. I am married to my wonderful husband, Eric. I have 3 children (Christina, Michael & Marissa), 2 step children (Grady and Gentry), 2 dogs (Riley and Bear) and 2 cats (Lucky and Rockie). I love spending time with our family, being outdoors, and fishing year round. I also enjoy hunting with our family.

I am excited to be part of the SJA staff.

Kristen Lynch • Music & Liturgy Coordinator/Social Media • 701-252-0119
As the Music and Liturgy Coordinator at St. James Basilica, my job encompasses a wide variety of tasks pertaining to the liturgical life of the parish, which includes some roles at St. John's Academy. My involvement at SJA includes maintaining and updating the Academy pages on the parish website, but my primary role is coordinating the school Masses. This includes preparing materials, assisting students as they prepare to be song leaders, and serving as Mass accompanist. I also serve as accompanist for other events upon Mrs. Sprague's request. As director of the parish Joyful Noise Children's Choir, I hold rehearsals at the Academy after school, in which many SJA students participate.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of North Dakota and spent a few years teaching Elementary General Music prior to joining the Basilica Staff. I absolutely love working at the Basilica, but being able to spend time making music with the students of St. John's Academy allows me to continue participating in the education of young students. Please encourage your kids to join the Children's Choir - I would love to have the opportunity to get to know them!
